History:

Our founders have been in the machining business since the 1940’s, supporting precision machining requirements and specializing in small diameter deep hole gun-drilling for industries ranging from commercial, aerospace, and medical device. Due to the excellent services provided, our medical device customers prompted American Drilling Company to form Ortho-Precision Products Inc. to manufacture their medical devices from raw materials to complete products including the long cannulations under one roof. Ortho-Precision Products Inc. was formed in 2013 and was certified to ISO13485 quality management system in 2014.

Our Equipment:

State of the art, high-end, CNC Machining and CMM Inspection equipment. From our Swiss Turning machines, to 4 axis horizontal and vertical machining centers, state of the art gundrilling machines and Coordinate Measuring machine, we are equipped to handle all jobs on exotic materials such as Titanium and Stainless steel. All equipment was installed and validated through Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Process Qualification (PQ) procedures. Our preventative maintenance program (PM) keeps our equipment at optimum operational condition.

We maintain a large inventory of various sizes of precision ground Titanium (implant grade) and Stainless steels suitable for surgical instruments with cert’s traceable to the material heat-lots.
